We have over 20 years of experience helping to ensure each employee’s generous contributions to their employee benefits packages is maximized to their fullest potential.

Through a combination of industry expertise, vendor relationships, and strategic planning tools; TDC Virginia Benefits & Risk Management will lead you through the employee benefit negotiation, evaluation, and placement process. TDC follows a five-step management process and utilizes a proven effective action timetable to ensure our clients receive a comprehensive and unbiased assessment of the market and new/existing carrier implementation is seamless. Our five-step management process includes:

  • Set objectives
  • Determine timeline
  • Collect plan documents
  • Analyze rate history
  • Prepare census data
  • Discuss ongoing and large claim information
  • Benefit and cost analysis of all proposals
  • Benefit recommendations formulated
  • Presentation of analyses/recommendations
  • Preparation of bid specifications
  • Selection of markets/vendors to be solicited
  • Submission of specifications to selected markets/vendors
  • Ongoing communication with bidding vendors
  • Collection of proposals
  • Coordination of entire process with vendor(s) and client
  • Coordinate/Conduct employee enrollment and education meetings
  • Submit enrollment data to vendor(s) for approval
  • Assist vendor with collection to underwriting data
  • Assist cancellation of current vendor (if applicable)
  • Provide necessary employee education materials and announcements
  • Day-to-day service including:
  1. Meet with management and/or employees as scheduled and as needed
  2. Advise of state and federal regulations and changing benefit trends
  3. Initiate and manage renewal processes
  4. Identify problem areas and recommend solutions
  5. Provide advice/consultation on all areas of employee benefits
  6. Assist with/provide on-going employee communication
